Nested.

What happens to artists from Eastern cultures, themselves shaped by Western images, when they migrate? What do they leave behind, how do they make a place for themselves in a new city, and does that place ever truly become theirs?

Nested is an open-air performance in Körnerpark, set between body, video and sound. It thinks of migration as a nest that is built again and again and keeps falling apart.

Part of the 48 Stunden Neukölln festival, performed in Körnerpark.
